Sew Mama Sew Giveaway! Yay!!!

Hello all! Happy Sew Mama Sew Giveaway day. I love participating in this event - what a fun way to meet new like-minded sewy people and have a chance to win some cool goodies. Sounds like a win/win to me!


For my giveaway I am offering up the following:

  3. Currently I'm reading The Kingmakers Daughter, which is pretty awesome if you're into historical fiction. I have had the Tea Rose recommended as being amazing, but I haven't read it yet. I got told I need time set aside without interruptions and I haven't been able to set aside that time commitment yet.

  10. I'm re-reading Harry Potter, which is a must for anyone, but I'm also listening to Night Circus which is really quite fascinating (and reminiscent of the magical wonder that is Harry Potter - esp when Jim Dale reads it.)

  18. I've read lots of good stuff lately! Anything by chef Anthony Bourdain, Homeward Bound (the New Domesticity), One Red Paperclip, Wild Company, The Little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap (fantastic- highly recommended). I've been on a non-fiction jag lately.

  39. One of my favorite places to visit is amazon.com's freebie book lists. Right now I'm reading The Christmas Tin by Roderick J Robison. on my kindle. I'm about a quarter way through and so far so good. It had pretty good reviews. Not sure if its still on the freebie list anymore as I picked it up several weeks ago.

  69. It may sound odd but I love reading Uncle John's Bathroom Readers (outside of the BR). They are full on interesting information and you can read them for a short time or longer. Thanks!

  135. I last read a book called Ninety Percent of Everything, which was interesting, but which I also wouldn't hugely recommend unless you really want to learn about the international shipping industry. I'm about to start in on the Ghost Map, which I'm excited about!
